Tang Renyuan
Academician, born in June 1931, graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1952, promoted to professor in 1983, elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in November 2001. Currently, he serves as the director of the Special Electrical Machinery Institute of Shenyang University of Technology, director of the National Engineering Research Center for Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Motors, director of the Ministry of Education Engineering Research Center for Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Applications, executive director of the China Electrotechnical Society and vice chairman of the editorial board of the Journal of Electrotechnical Technology, chairman of the Permanent Magnet Motor Professional Committee, council member of the International Electromagnetic Field Society, vice chairman of the National Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Motor Cooperation Network, and academic advisor of the editorial board of the Journal of Shenyang University of Technology. Since 2006, he has served as the chief scientist of Zhejiang Lianyi Motor Co., Ltd.
Ren Jie
Male, born in 1938, from Dongyang, Zhejiang Province, senior engineer at the research level, recipient of special government allowances. Graduated from the Electrical Engineering Department of Zhejiang University, majoring in electrical engineering. He worked successively at the Beijing Electric Power Research Institute of the First Ministry of Machine Building and the Xi'an Micro-motor Research Institute of the First Ministry of Machine Building, and served as the chief engineer of the Xi'an Micro-motor Research Institute. His research and development of the "Low-power General-purpose Timer" won an invention patent, the "CYB Series Permanent Magnet DC Tachometer Generator" was awarded the third prize for excellent new products in Shaanxi Province, the "Research on Hollow Cup Permanent Magnet DC Servo Motor Series" won the Shaanxi Provincial Outstanding Contribution Award, and the "210 Project - H/PJ87 Single 100mm Naval Gun" won the National Science and Technology Special Award. The "Electrical Engineering Handbook" (Volumes 1-9), which he was responsible for compiling, was awarded the first prize for excellent national science and technology books.
